Radio waves: Bill ``Garman’’ Meyer speaks

SHARE Radio waves: Bill ``Garman’’ Meyer speaks

Bill “Garman” Meyer talks gar and fishing for them in Illinois this afternoon on “Outside.”

We touch all the gar–longnose, shortnose, spotted and alligator–in Illinois and fishing for them.

We also get into the hows and whys of the rather hilariously brilliant garfishing.com site (G.A.S.S.) for the Gar Anglers’ Sporting Society. The photo is from the site of the gar that started it all.

There was much we did not touch and will get to another day down the road, when we GASS up again.

“Outside” airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. The rebroadcasts are at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
