Abby and Patrick Sharp
The Hawks’ Patrick Sharp chose an unusual venue to announce the arrival of his new baby daughter: “The Eric & Kathy Show” on The Mix. Sharp called into the show en route to practice Monday to break the news his wife, Abby, had delivered the couple’s second daughter, Sadie Ellen Sharp Sunday night at Prentice Women’s Hospital. “Dad didn’t even have to miss a practice,” Sharp quipped to the show’s Eric Ferguson and Kathy Hart since, like his older daughter, little Sadie also arrived on one of his day’s off from work.
