St. Joseph junior combo guard Jordan Ash is scheduled to take an unofficial visit to Northwestern this Saturday, a source told the Sun-Times.

Ash, who plays his AAU basketball with the Illinois Wolves, currently holds offers from the Wildcats, Purdue, DePaul, UIC, Wright State, NIU and Boston College, according to the source.

Since Chris Collins took over as coach at the end of March, the Wildcats have been aggressively pursuing players at Chicago’s Catholic schools. Vic Law and Scott Lindsey, recruits in the class of 2014, are seniors at St. Rita and Fenwick respectively.
