Jonas Brothers musical feud turns personal

Several sources close to the Jonas Brothers say the family feud between the musical siblings apparently runs deeper than many realized.

It seems the separate musical direction for the group — desired by Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas — has led to the brothers becoming very estranged from each other.

“They have allowed their professional differences to begin to impact their personal relationships with each other,” said a longtime Jonas family insider. “They have to get it together, or else this could spell the end of them as a factor in popular music right now.”

A second source was more positive. “They needed time to figure things out, that’s why they had to cancel the tour. … They are getting back on track, and you’ll see them out in the near future, with a solid, updated new feel to their music — but it won’t alienate  their huge fan base.”

Seems Nick leans to merely adding a jazzier slant to their old sound, while Joe wants an edgier, harder-rock slant to the Jonas Brothers’ music going forward.
