In the unfiltered, instantaneous world of Twitter, people can be mean.

Just before Bears quarterback Jay Cutler went down with a groin injury against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, wife Kristin Cavallari tweeted to a fan about hair extensions.

A Twitter meanie called her out for being self-absorbed and indifferent to her husband’s well-being.
