Behold great moments in mustache history brought to you by — who else? — Nick Offerman

SHARE Behold great moments in mustache history brought to you by — who else? — Nick Offerman

Minooka native Nick Offerman knows a thing or two about below-the-nose hair, so it’s only appropriate that the University of Illinois alum and “Parks and Recreation” star deliver a comedic lesson on the history of famous mustaches, from ancient Babylonia to Chef Boyardee.

In honor of Movember, the worldwide movement where men grow mustaches to raise awareness and money for testicular and prostate cancer, Offerman has once again partnered with Defy Media’s Made Man to make a video launching the campaign:

Starting Wednesday and running throughout November, Made Man will release an array of Movember-inspired videos and other content. Another Offerman video will debut in mid-November.

Made Man is asking fans to share a #ManlyMoment via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Vine for a chance to win a mancation to Vegas to fly in a fighter jet. The online men’s lifestyle destination says it will donate $1 to Movember for every entry submitted. Visit www.MadeMan.com/Movember/Manly-Moments for details.
