Bears tight end Martellus Bennett went to the locker room late in the first half of Sunday’s game against New Orleans.

It was unclear why. Bennett played one snap after a scary flip when he was tackled by Malcolm Jenkins on the Bears sideline. Bennett landed on the crown of his helmet. He sat out, and then returned for one play.

It appeared as if trainers were examining both legs before he left the field.

Bennett returned to the sideline just before halftime.
