Wild of the Week: A belted kingfisher

Ron Chrzas nicely captured the rugged beauty of a belted kingfisher, before it reacted to another kingfisher.

Kingfishers are one of my favorite birds to see. It’s something about their look. Their call can be as grating as a blue jay though.
