White Sox to play exhibition in Birmingham

The White Sox will play a Friday night exhibition game against their AA farm club in Birmingham, Ala., on March 28, the Southern League champion Barons announced Tuesday.

The Sox open the 2014 season at home against the Minnesota Twins on Monday, March 31.

The Sox last played the Barons in 2007.
