Responding to recent criticism that his show is seriously lacking in diversity when it comes to cast, hosts and even musical guests, “Saturday Night Live” producer/creator Lorne Michaels has responded by announcing his hosts for the next month: three-time host Paul Rudd (Dec. 7), 12-time host John Goodman (Dec. 14) and returning for the second time as host, Jimmy Fallon (Dec.21). Their musical guests will be One Direction, Kings of Leon and Justin Timberlake, respectively.
The Wrap.com has nicknamed it an “SNL” White Christmas.

Currently there are no black women in the cast; there have only been three black women in the cast in the entire run of the series, in fact. Only two black men are part of the current ensemble: Jay Pharaoh and Kenan Thompson. I’m thinking Michaels may have some surprises in store. What do you think?
