Multimedia reporter Jessica Koscielniak and columnist Rick Telander are Downstate to follow the inspirational story of the Washington, Ill., Panthers as the team moves through the playoffs.

A win for the Panthers today means a spot in the state championship. But, more importantly, the team gives this town of 15,000 a rallying point after a deadly EF-4 tornado tore through Washington last Sunday.
