Some hunting reopened today at Des Plaines Game Propagation Center near Wilmington. It had been closed by damage from the storms on Nov. 17.

Here’s the update from the IDNR:

WILMINGTON, IL – The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) will resume hunting programs at the Des Plaines Game Propagation Center beginning November 25. Hunting areas 5 and 6 will remain closed due to numerous downed trees and storm clean up activities. Further information can be obtained by calling the office at 815/476-6741.
