SHARE Bears donate to Downstate tornado relief via auction site

The Bears will donate $210,194 to the Red Cross on Tuesday after raising money for tornado relief from a web site the team set up – chicagobears.com/tornadorelief – where fans bid on game-used items.

The site raised $32,857, the team said Monday, and cash donations totaled $22,240. The team’s Bears Care charity matched the total and added an extra $100,000.
