The Blackhawks on Monday activated forward Bryan Bickell from injured reserve. Hawks coach Joel Quenneville said Sunday that Bickell would travel with the team to Nashville for Tuesday’s game against the Predators. But while he wouldn’t rule Bickell out, he seemed doubtful Bickell would play.

“He’s close,” Quenneville said. “We’ll see. More likely Friday [at home against Vancouver].”

Bickell hasn’t played since suffering a leg injury on Nov. 19 at Colorado. He has missed 14 straight games.

To make room for Bickell on the roster, Jeremy Morin was sent back down to Rockford.
