Steig Larsson may have died in 2004, but there now will be someone new to carry on his mega-successful “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” legacy. Larsson’s Swedish publisher, Norstedts, said Tuesday it had inked a contract with “I Am Zlatan” author David Lagercrantz to write a sequel book to Larsson’s “Tattoo” trilogy.

The new novel about journalist Mikael Blomqvist and hacker Lisbeth Salander is slated to be published in August, 2015.

Norstedts’ CEO Eva Gedin told the AP the new book with be an original and not include anything form the fourth book Larsson had begun writing — but hadn’t finished — before he died.
