After the Southern Illinois men’s basketball team suffered its fourth-straight loss Tuesday night, this time 73-65 to Murray State, the Salukis’ Barry Hinson let loose after the game.

While his rant wasn’t on the level of Dennis Green or Lee Elia, it was great in its own way, because he went to places no other coaches have gone before.

Some of the highlights: I’ve been telling my wife this for years: Size doesn’t matter. (1:19 mark) When’s the last time a coach incorporated the phrase tax breaks into a rant? (2:39 mark) My wife! … my wife could score more than two buckets on 11 shots, because I know my wife will at least shot fake one time! (2:50 mark) And then Hinson says how his team needs to be house trained like a puppy dog. (3:20 mark)
