William Blair & Co. expects to move to the West Loop in 2017.

The investment bank plans to anchor a proposed 53-story office tower at 150 N. Riverside Plaza, chicagorealestatedaily.com reports.

William Blair will occupy about a quarter of the 1.2 million-square-foot building planned by Chicago developer John O’Donnell.

William Blair’s headquarters now uses about 325,000 square feet at the Franklin Center, 222 W. Adams St. The company has about 1,000 employees in Chicago.
