Aaron Rodgers got the star treatment when Shea McClellin was called for an unnecessary roughness penalty against the Packers quarterback in the second quarter, Jay Cutler said Monday.

On his weekly ESPN1000 radio show, the Bears quarterback was asked if a flag would have been thrown in the second quarter if the same hit was done to him.

“Wouldn’t have been close to a flag,” he said.

Cutler said he didn’t play “well enough” against the Packers in Sunday’s loss. Asked about his 1-8 record against the rival, he said that “it is what it is; I wish it was better.”
