NO surprise here: Due to expected, “overwhelming demand,” Live Nation has announced that a second show will be added Saturday, Aug. 30 to the previously announced Friday, Aug. 29 Chicago stop of the super-popular One Direction boy band’s “Where We Are 2014” stadium tour.

Tickets for both shows at Soldier Field will go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday at livenation.com, where additional information about other pre-sales opportunities for fans also can be checked.

For fans looking to catch a free sneak peek of One Direction’s Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson — check out “Saturday Night Live” this weekend (10:30 p.m. Saturday, WMAQ-Channel 5), where they will be the musical guests. The boys will also be performing at the iHeartRadio “Midnight Memories” album release party, airing on the CW network (WGN-Channel 9), Monday.
