Thanks, (Sunny) Obama: The First Pup knocks a kid over

Sunny Obama has only been in the White House for a few months, but the Obamas’ second First Dog is already creating headaches. The Portuguese Water Dog was a little over-zealous at a White House arts and crafts event Wednesday and knocked over Ashtyn Gardner, 2. First Lady Michelle Obama was quick to pull the pup back and offer a hug to Ashtyn.

Trouble early on. Poor little Ashtyn’s face is scrunched up as little kids tend to do, and the shocked faces of the chefs in the background tell you all you need to know.

She takes a tumble…

Michelle is mortified.

Undeterred, Ashtyn gets right up in Sunny’s face. Or maybe it’s the other way around.

Ashtyn seems okay as the friendly pup is subdued.
