Marshall fined $7,875 by NFL

Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall was fined $7,875, a league source said Friday, for an unnecessary roughness flag Sunday in Minneapolis.

Marshall committed the penalty in the first quarter, though the Vikings declined it in favor of Martellus Bennett’s offensive pass interference.

Vikings cornerback Chris Cook was fined $26,250 after being ejected for bumping the side judge in the chest. He’d just allowed a 46-yard touchdown catch by Alshon Jeffery.
