Fish of the Week: Big harbor king

SHARE Fish of the Week: Big harbor king

Ray Riverocaught the salmon of his life, a 27-pound king, Friday night while fishing with fellow North Sider Arden Katz at Milwaukee Harbor.

“The fish was so big that I couldn’t get the tail in the picture!” Katz emailed.

Rivero caught it on a Strike King KVD Rattling Crankbait.

I repeat myself. I think we will see a 30-pounder on shore this fall.

There are many ways to send nominations for FOTW, the weekly celebration of big fish around Chicago fishing on the Sun-Times outdoors page each Wednesday: Facebook (Dale Bowman), Twitter (@BowmanOutside) or email (straycasts@sbcglobal.net).
