There were two very high-profile weddings this past weekend. First, NBA superstar LeBron James tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Savannah Brinson at the Grand Del Mar Hotel in San Diego Saturday. Not only did the guest list include James’ Miami Heat teammate, Chicago’s own Dwyane Wade, and his galpal Gabrielle Union, plus Ne-Yo, but the newlyweds were reportedly surprised at their reception with Beyonce and Jay-Z performing “Crazy in Love.”

James and Brinson’s love dates back to their high school years and they already have two sons together. They became engaged on New Year’s Eve, 2011.

†Across the pond, in Lake Como, Italy, E! News reported music man John Legend married his fiancée Chrissy Teigen Saturday in a very small ceremony, only attended by a few family members and close friends.

Legend and Teigen announced their engagement in December, 2011.
