Zac Efron is doing well five months after leaving rehab

Zac Efron stars as a Dallas emergency room physician in the upcoming JFK assasination film “Parkland.”

Not only did Zac Efron walk the red carpet at the recent Toronto Film Festival — to boost his upcoming “Parkland” film about the JFK assassination — but it seems the actor has successfully maintained his sobriety, five months after his stint in rehab.

“He’s healthy, happy and not drinking” a source told E! News — a piece of good news my own BZ sources close to the actor also confirm.

“Zac is a smart guy and it’s great that he tackled his demons and got them under control before they could possibly destroy both his career, his relationships — and ultimately his life,” said a Team Efron member — long close to the popular star.
