Hester given NFC special teams honor

After setting a Bears record with 249 kick return yards Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, Devin Hester was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Hester has 13 career special teams honors, the most ever by an NFL specialist. He last won the award three times in a six-week span in 2011.
