You can take a girl out of the city, in the city

Sometimes a city gal needs to get out of town and explore the wide open spaces out in the country.

If that’s not an option just now, head to 2 Riverside Plaza and check out Butterflies & Buffalo: Tales of American Culture, a 12-year project of photographer Dennis Manarchy. While the installation of the 35-ft long, 12-ft tall and 8-ft wide camera is fairly impressive, I’m more transfixed by the faces of our nation.

The exhibit runs until Oct. 31.
