Illinois deer program manager Tom Micetich talks squirrels, mast, hunters and Illinois’ deer herd this afternoon on “Outside.”

We cover a range of deer, hunting and squirrel issues and topics, including the dramatic shift away from squirrel and rabbit hunting being the introduction to hunting for young hunters.

“Outside” airs from 4:30-5 p.m. Mondays on WKCC-FM (91.1) in Kankakee. The rebroadcasts are at 8:30 a.m. on Saturdays.
