WTTW- Channel 11 revisits season 1 of “Downton Abbey” at 9 p.m.

“Downton Abbey,” one of the biggest imports since the Beatles, premieres Sept. 22.

On ITV. In Great Britain. Across the pond.

For stateside fans held captive by this sinister plot, WTTW is airing the entire series at 9 p.m. in the days running up to the new season — in the U.K.

While this doesn’t solve the void, it does reacquaint fans with the Granthams.
