Two suburban men were taking off from Brookeridge Airpark in Downers Grove on December 28 when one very unfortunate Canadian goose got in their way. It’s a classic example of what happens when no one blinks in a game of chicken.

ABC 7 reports the plane was able to safely return to the airport and neither man was injured. No word on the goose’s condition.
