For fans of that very funny recent T-Mobile TV commercial — with parents angrily admonishing their son “Jeremy” to rein in his overseas cell phone costs — it’s fun to note the actress playing the mom is veteran Chicago actress Janet Ulrich Brooks.

The Jeff Award winner is currently in rehearsals for TimeLine Theatre’s new play by Sarah Treem, “The How and the Way” — set to run at the Lake View theater, Jan. 28–April 6.
