It’s no secret Tony Bennett is a big fan of Lady Gaga — having long raved about the flamboyant pop superstar’s musical gifts during previous musical and TV collaborations.
So, it should have not come as a huge surprise Bennett will now record an entire album with Gaga — which he announced on Katie Couric’s daytime chatfest. The new CD is due out in September.
†Earlier Bennett performed “The Lady is a Tramp” with Lady Gaga on his “Duets II” album. At that time he called her “the Picasso of the entertainment world.”
