Retail, residential project planned near Old Orchard

Chicago real estate investor Seth Singerman, founder of Singerman Real Estate LLC, wants to build a shopping center and residential tower next door to Westfield Old Orchard Mall in Skokie. ChicagoRealEstateDaily.com reports Singerman may demolish a six-story office building at Lavergne Avenue and Old Orchard Road to make way for Orchard Promenade, a mixed-use project with retail space and a nine-story residential building.
