Federal agencies have investigated whether Bank of America engaged in improper trading by performing its futures trades ahead of its clients’, Reuters reports, citing a June regulatory filing. The probe came to light in connection with a FINRA BrokerCheck report on former BofA employee Eric Beckwith. Investigators also are looking into whether Beckwith “provided accurate information” for an inquiry into the matter by the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
