The Bulls could be without Joakim Noah for tonight’s game with Minnesota, with the big man feeling “under the weather,’’ according to coach Tom Thibodeau.
Thibodeau said Noah would be a game-time decision after he didn’t participate in the morning shootaround.
As for Kirk Hinrich, the veteran has missed the last three games (right hamstring), and will be out against the Timberwolves.
Hinrich is getting closer to a return, however, and will be on the West Coast trip with the team.
“I’m doing better,’’ Hinrich said. “I’ve made significant progress, so I’m definitely happy about that. I’m hoping to get better and not have anything linger, and hopefully be able to finish the second half out strong.’’
Hinrich was originally ruled out at least a week with the injury, suffered in the Jan. 20 win over the Lakers, and his hope was to be ready for San Antonio on Wednesday.
“My plan is to [play on this trip],’’ Hinrich said. “I’m not going to take anything off the table, be cautious because it’s something I’ve had in the past. But at the same time, just keep pushing myself so I can be ready as soon as possible.’’
