SHARE Blues Fest headliners announced

Tom Marker announced on WXRT’s Blues Breakers the lineup for this summer’s annual Blues Festival at the Petrillo Music Shell in Grant Park.

It kicks off Friday, June 13 with a centennial celebration of John Lee “Sonny Boy” Williamson with Billy Boy Arnold. The Carolina Chocolate Drops opens.

Bettye LaVette plays on Saturday, June 14.

Aaron Neville and Dr. John are set to take the stage Sunday, June 15 with opener Nikki Hill.

The festival is FREE admission and open from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. June 13-15 in Grant Park! The complete line-up will be released later this spring.
