Snow removal from side-streets in Chicago has been slower than most Chicagoans would like. Aldermen are complaining, both publicly and privately, about the situation, so we had to ask: how’s the situation in your neighborhood?
Almost afraid to ask, but what is the snow situation like on side-streets in your neighborhood?

@Suntimes side streets, side walks, bus stops. Driving by a bus stop, saw an elderly man fall just trying to stand as he waited for the bus.

@Suntimes bad. Terrible. Did they even plow?

@Suntimes terrible. Snow goes at least 5 feet into street from curb. Snow still covers the Lane lines in middle of street as well.

@Suntimes Dreadful, unless you live down the block from an alderman Yeah, I'm talking about you, @JoeMoore49, even the alley

@Suntimes Our whole neighborhood is unplowed. It's a mess by Lakeview HS, esp at morning dropoff.
