One person was killed and five, wounded yesterday in shootings across Chicago.

Meantime, Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Police Superintendent Garry McCarthy are expected to discuss the city’s efforts to continue the reduction of violent crime in 2014 at 11 a.m. Central time.
