All outbound lanes of the Interstate 90/94 Dan Ryan Expressway have reopened after fallen construction equipment blocked the lanes at Lake Street, wreaking havoc on Friday evening rush hour commute times.

The equipment fell from a semitrailer truck about 5:30 p.m., closing all outbound lanes at Lake, according to Illinois State Police.

The lanes were cleared by 6:05 p.m., state police said. No one was hurt.
