South Shore Line trains delayed up to an hour

South Shore Line trains are delayed up to an hour during Monday’s morning commute.

The delays on the South Shore Line, which runs between Chicago and South Bend, Ind., are the result of overhead wire and bridge upgrades, according to the Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District’s website.

Westbound Train 12 is running between 50 and 60 minutes late, according to a commuter alert.

Train 112 is running between 20 and 30 minutes late, and Train 110 is running between 45 and 50 minutes late.
