(HILLSIDE) The person killed in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday night on the Reagan Memorial Tollway near west suburban Hillside has been identified.

Jeffrey P. Duran, 28, of Bartlett was driving the 1997 Honda CRV, according to Indiana State Police.

The SUV crashed, rolled over and caught fire about 11:20 p.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of I-88 near Mannheim Road, according to ISP.

An autopsy Wednesday found Duran died of smoke inhalation and thermal injuries from the crash, with acute ethanol intoxication listed as a contributing factor, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

His death was ruled an accident.
