Ferguson grand jury does not indict Darren Wilson

The news came shortly after 8 p.m. Monday in a lengthy statement by St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Bob McCulloch.

“We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his action,” the Brown family said in a statement sent shortly after the decision was announced. “While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change.”

Protests continue Monday in both Ferguson and Chicago.
