(STREAMWOOD) A garage fire Wednesday in northwest suburban Streamwood caused $50,000 in damage.

Firefighters arrived at the home in the 600 block of Parkside Circle and found the garage fully involved, according to a statement from the Streamwood Fire Department.

The fire was contained to the garage and extinguished, according to the statement. No one was hurt.

Damage is estimated at $50,000, according to the statement.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
