SHARE Brown Line resumes normal service in Loop

The CTA Brown Line has resumed normal service Wednesday after switching problems caused reroutes for 24 hours in the Loop.

A switching problem near Lake and Wells caused the delays beginning about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on the Green and Brown lines in the Loop, according to the CTA.

Brown Line trains were rerouted onto the Purple Line tracks, but have resumed normal service as of 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to the CTA.

All trains are running normally in the Loop as of Wednesday afternoon.
