The oil and gas boom in parts of the Great Plains continued to attract Americans at a higher rate than any other part of the county in 2013, according to Census Data released today. North Dakota saw an increase of 3.14 percent from July 1, 2012 to July 1, 2013, by far the biggest percentage increase among any state. Other areas of relatively high growth were in Colorado, Utah and southern Florida.
