Two people were shot during a fight between rival gang factions Tuesday night in Englewood.

A 24-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man were part of a group involved in a fight at South Halsted and West 66th streets when someone pulled out a gun and fired numerous shots about 7:10 p.m., police said.

Both the man and women were shot in the right shoulder and took themselves to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, where they were listed in “stable” condition, police said.

The 20-year-old, a documented gang member, got into a fight with several males who are part of a rival gang faction, police said. The duo initially told police they were driving in a car when they were shot.

No one is in custody early Wednesday as Area South detectives investigate.
