A man was stabbed to death Wednesday night at his home in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

Larry Martin, 28, suffered a stab wound to the chest about 6:40 p.m. at his home in the 6800 block of South Talman Avenue, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.

Martin was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 7:46 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives conduct a homicide investigation.
