A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Saturday evening in the South Side Woodlawn neighborhood.

The man, 18, was outside in the 6200 block of South Stony Island Avenue about 6:45 p.m. when he heard shots from a passing vehicle, police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

The man was taken to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center in “stable” condition with a graze wound to the leg, Gaines said.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
