(OAK BROOK) A department store at Oak Brook Mall in the western suburbs was robbed early Wednesday morning.

Police responded to an activated burglary alarm about 4:30 a.m. at Lord & Taylor, 180 Oakbrook Center Mall, according to a statement from Oak Brook police.

Police said at least one robber forced entry to the store and stole jewelry and watches.
