Man shot in Chicago Lawn

A man was shot in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the South Side Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened in the 2200 block of West 72nd Street about 11:15 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.

A 20-year-old man was shot in the leg and arm, and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he is listed in “serious but stable” condition, police said.

No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
