A man shot during a domestic incident Tuesday morning in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side remains hospitalized.

The 28-year-old was shot in the left elbow and backside about 11:10 a.m. in the 10600 block of South Wentworth Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Michael Sullivan said.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in “stable” condition as of late Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Police said the man was shot during a domestic incident and a weapon was recovered.

Area South detectives are investigating.
